ORANGE COUNTY FUNDERS ROUNDTABLE ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE AND 2018 ANNUAL SUMMIT
The Orange County Funders Roundtable is thrilled to announce that as of August 1, 2018, the organization has rebranded as Orange County Grantmakers. The group, comprised of over 35 local and regional funders, has been in existence since 2006. Its mission is to advance social impact by supporting, strengthening, and building adaptive leadership across our nonprofit and philanthropic community. The rebrand to include “Grantmakers” in its name brings the organization in line with similar regional associations across the country.
Furthermore, OC Grantmakers is looking forward to hosting an annual summit on Thursday, October 4 at the Delhi Center in Santa Ana for nonprofit and funder leaders in the county. The 2018 theme is “Building Our Movement,” and confirmed speakers include Nicole Hockley, founder of the Sandy Hook Promise; Jessica Ladd, founder of Callisto; and Reverend James Lawson, renowned Civil Rights Movement leader.
This one-day event seeks to inspire local change-makers to think deeply about how they can engage around the most prevalent movements and issues impacting Orange County today. To view the full list of speakers, sponsorship opportunities, or to register, visit www.ocgrantmakers.org.
